This is the bacteria that caused a sinus infection that began taking a massive toll on my life 12 years ago.

This is the bacteria that caused a sinus infection that began taking a massive toll on my life 12 years ago.


The story: After 10 years of treatment, it was determined in 2009 that I would need to undergo surgery to remove polyps that were blocking my sinuses caused by the infection. This was going to allow my sinuses to drain properly and allow for proper treatment. Unfortunately the surgery was only successful for half of my sinuses and the infection is not going away. Two years later and after many more months of treatment it has been determined that I will need another surgery to fix the other side of my sinuses and finally rid my body of this horrible disease. This sort of infection can be extremely dangerous because of the close proximity to the eyes and brain and should be taken care of as soon as possible. This is where you come in… My insurance will cover most of it but the out of pocket expenses will end up being a few thousand dollars which I cannot afford.
